“What is the biggest change you’ve noticed in students from when you first started teaching and now?'
Self confidence is at low and anxiety is at a all time high
Most think they will just become a famous YouTuber
Our students think life will just happen FOR them
It’s at home too, they spend a lot of time in front of screens
Anthony’s story
In addition to my corporate work, I believe passionately in the importance of helping the next generation.
As a speaker for schools, I use my story to inspire people who are around the age at what I was at the time he fell ill.
I share real life examples with students to help them to think about their lives from a new perspective, how to stay motivated and take positive action towards their goals in a world where that is becoming increasingly difficult to do.

How it works
Multiple assemblies for the first half of the day
45min - 1h in duration, including Q&A.
One or two year groups per assembly, all year groups covered.
(This is to give quality over quantity, as engaging with year 7 students is quite different to engaging with year 13 students)
Pupil Premium Groups
After students have sat through the assembly, I then take smaller groups of up to 10 pupil premium, low confidence/students that need an extra motivational push and holds smaller workshops, focusing on:
- Resilience
- Goal Setting
- Thinking Long Term
- Dealing with setbacks
Outcomes
Long lasting behaviour change
Speaking with one or two year groups is great, but this inspiration could be diluted down in no time, as the rest of the school has not felt the same buzz.
I will hold an assembly for each year group as part of my speaking package for schools at no extra cost, to make sure the inspiration lasts!
Instant positive changes in behaviour
Teachers have reported of changes in behaviour from the very next lesson.
