In 2006 I contracted:- Influenza
- Streph Pneumonia
- Staphylococcus
- Sepsisafter returning from a school trip to Disneyland Paris
Whilst in Hospital
- My heart stopped 12 times
- Was given 10% chance of survival- Spent 21 days on an ECMO life support machine- Relearned how to breathe, sit, stand and walk unaided

2012 - Played a key role in securing a £7.5m charity partnership between Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Whitbread PLC

Whitbread then offered me a role and I went on to help inspire and motivate a team of 20,000 team membersWith a goal of £7.5m within 5 years, we raised £10m, which went towards a new cardiac wing at the children's hospital
